Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Vehicle Release Specialist to oversee the safe and efficient release of outbound vehicles. This role ensures that all cargo is securely loaded, tarpaulins and straps meet company standards, and that loading procedures adhere to safety regulations. The specialist will provide timely feedback to dispatchers and safety personnel to support continuous operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor vehicle entry and loading progress to ensure timely and organized dispatch.
• Inspect cargo loading to verify compliance with safety and operational requirements, including proper use of tarpaulins and cargo straps.
• Report any irregularities or non-compliance issues to the dispatcher and safety officer immediately.
• Coordinate closely with dispatchers to facilitate smooth vehicle release and scheduling.
• Assist the safety officer in identifying and eliminating potential safety hazards during the loading process.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of vehicle release inspections and safety checks.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or safety management is an advantage.
• Prior experience in logistics, fleet coordination, or a transport-related role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and adapt to changing priorities.
