Business Development Officer

Job Description

Job Purpose
Responsible for growing the company’s revenue, assets and liabilities and expanding its brand.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Establish and achieve sales and loan targets and promote services to customers.
• Assist customers with all banking services and loan products.
• Coordinate with team members and ensure customer satisfaction and provide required information.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers, evaluate requirements and recommend appropriate products and initiate growth for the business.
• Maintain exceptional knowledge of various banking and loan products and associate policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business contacts and industries.
• Assess flows of deals and provide support to the branch in closing deals.
• Assist in determining marketing programmes for essential segments.

Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of first degree in any related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the same or similar role.
• High excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and honesty.
· Good credit analysis skills
· Excellent analytical skills
· Good marketing and negotiation skills
